Can I go a day without touting the versatility of Borax?
Once again, head over to eHow.com and let them show you how you and the kiddos can use this wonder material make your own silly putty! I love collecting these simple little kid-centric projects. When I babysit, having an interesting activity on hand can really break things up and make the day go faster for the kiddos AND for me!
If you’ve never worked with Borax, it’s a great little laundry additive that seems to be useful in all manner of household cleaning recipes, including homemade laundry detergent and the carpet refresher I posted on yesterday! A big box will put you back about $3.50. You can find it in the laundry detergent aisle of Walmart. It’s on the bottom shelf at mine. Also, the Rit dye you’ll need for those watermark t-shirts I posted about will be on the top shelf of the same aisle. Now, don’t you feel more prepared?
